IMO the AMV8 is a joke of a car, just like the rest of the cars they make. they look pretty good, but thats about it. AMV8 has the interior of a f*ing volvo for crying out loud! LOLOLOL!

I find that hard to believe. My dad has the vantage and although i personally would have gone for a turbo or splurged for a gallardo, i dont see how anyone can say the interior sucks or that the car is a joke. The interior is damn near flawless to me. Everyone that has ever been in the car complements the interior. The amv8 is definitely not the greatest performing car out there, but it is easily one of the best looking and sounding cars on the road. I know my dad bought it because he fell in love with styling on the concept car about 4 years ago.

It is a very different car than the turbo. Comparing the two seems like comparing a db9 and a ferrari to me. Though, not quite as extreme

besides, how can you call this a joke?

I parked next to one today at the golf club...it's very eye catching at first but then almost looks a bit "cartoonish"...what says it all...as I was leaving the course and walking back to my car...the guy driving the AM stopped his car behind mine...stared at it and slowly drove away...the look on his face looked to me at least of "damn...I should have gotten the turbo"...but again...I'm biased.

i think the styling is good, as i said in my prior post. actually, the rear quarter view is very reminescent of the 997 is you ever see then side by side from that view, so no prob there. my comment on them being a joke was more in regards to their performance as they to me are the audi of sports/exotics as they have good numbers on paper but poor performance for what you pay for and get. they focus on the sound of the car whereas porsche focus' on EVERTHING, not just a car that sounds good. everything is perfected on the porsche but then again they are two diff car makers. when i see the AM around town, they still dont excite me like a 911 does, or even a cayman. the styling reminds me of porsche in some views as i stated above, but they just dont do much for me.
