depends on how soon the car is ready, can take a 2-3 days to weeks, make sure that the dealership puts a priority 1 on that car

My car arrived in the Bay Area about 5 days after the boat hit port in San Diego. I picked it up the following day at noon because it arrived 1 hour before closing. If it gets there in the AM you should have it ready by mid to late afternoon from your dealer.

is there any way the dealer can actually place a priority on my car? I know that "sold" cars always get bumped to the front, but is there really anything that can be done beyond that?

Thats good news Chris! Looking forward to your feedback also! I can tell you this, give it time before passing judgement. I like the car more and more as the time passes. It really starts to loosen up after you put some miles on it. The only time I had a bit of blue smoke on startup in the morning was when it was brand new. Ever since I took it to redline at 250 miles I never had that issue again. Don't baby the car too long is my opinion but you do what you feel is best for your car. My dealer told me to hold off for the first 1000 miles but I didn't have the willpower. The Turbo just wants to go go go! Watch the tickets! Had some close calls already because your not aware of the speed like in our 997S's. Keep us posted!

Got a call today that my car is on U.S. soil! They were checking to see if it got on a truck but didn't hear back. They said they are really pushing to get all cars off as fast as possible - the end of month thing!

They said there's a good chance they could have the car Saturday. If all goes well I'll fly out Wed. and drive it home Thurs.
