so, I got my TT this past weekend. I ordered deviated stitching throughout (or so I thought). I had my fingers crossed the whole time that it would come out correctly (since porsche makes it such a pain in the a*s to order it - they should make it a SINGLE OPTION!!! - not 14 different options!!) so, the only 2 parts that did not come out were the shifter boot & the e-brake handle.

Where did I screw up?

Also, how can I order the shifter boot w/ deviated stitching aftermarket? the e-brake I dont reallyt care about, but the shifter is way more noticeable.

Ask any high end car store who does their interior work. Do you have a high end car restorer? They prolly also can help. LeatherZ does good work.

 

My dealer went thru all of this we me on my new 08 , I did see the dad option and it was the way to go.

I looked at several cars that he had pic's of and made my choices..

Agree, that has to be the stupidest thing I've ever seen porsche come up with!
Somebody at the factory should be scratching their heads when they put in all that dev stitching and leave the shifter alone.

 

In alloy:gear lever partail 4.1 , included milled in shaft pattern,

inlay in handbreak lever 4.3 with porsche logo

smooth leather finish in int color,handbrake lever 4.3a

handbreak finisher ( uppersection)4.3b

alloy look paint finish,handbreak finisher (lower section)4.3c

so these make the shifter & e-brake "exclusive" - therefore "Option code 09991 - all excluding options in dev color" would make them deviated.

Is there another option code that specifically calles out the shifter boot??

Damn, porsche really needs to simplify this!!
