The extra ECU can still have the switching. You still can do stock, pump, race, valet or kill. For the people that are worried about any dealer issues this elevates all that concern. It is not an alternative and more of a security measure from the dealer than anything.

i wanted to ask an opinion on which one of the two is louder and sounds better: Fabspeed or Milltech

i also want to put headers at least and maybe even more mods. i dont like the sound of my car and the M5 sometimes feel better to drive. i dont mind the attention as long as it feels and sounds great

thanks

I like the Fabspeed Muffler Bypass pipes with the catalytics, sounds good and is priced reasonably coupled with an Ecu, EVOMS headers and FS Airintake I think that should do the trick.

very difficult question...

I have AWE and its good, my friend has Fabspeed quiet and is that, quiet. I wouldn't discount Milltek is awesome on the 996TT's neither Tubi. Tubi is not awesome in the 996TT's but still have to prove itself on the 997TT.

But if you want assurance of the AWE, yes its good, nice sound, no in cabin drone, and HP gain is significant but in this very last subject I belive is the headers pulling more weight in this matter. Get the headers too!!!
