How do you feel about the options you got?
Why they do not make a Sport w/multi-function and thicker leather is a mystery to me.
So I'll go with the Sport with thicker leather F... the multi-function, I will be too busy anyway driving

Thanks for the pics...sure helps. I like the lighter grey with controls.
If you want to start adding the rest of the different versions then you've got Carbon, the two types of wood, etc. Pretty bewildering if you ask me. I went with an aftermarket one from Techart instead. BEST mod I've ever done!
Arctic Silver/Black--classic
6 speed--love it
Adoptive Sport Seats--awesome seats
Porsche Crest in head rest--nice touch
Sports Crono--must have for turbo
Differential lock rear--why not
heated front seats--nice to have
PCCB--awesome stopping power, no brake dust, love them so far
Park Assist--may come in handy someday
Electronic log book--never used
Module for phone PCM--never used
Extended Nav--never used, not yet anyway
Remote CD changer--never used
Thicker Steering Wheel--love it
Spoiler lip painted--I like the lowers painted
Rear Apron painted--have it, like it
Standard rockers painted--have it, like it
Wish I had:
SSK, not available at the time
more interior leather goodies
model insignia on console lid
No biggie though, I plan to add the SSK and I really don't miss the additional leather goodies when I drive. I really like my 997.

The sport steering wheel (the photo) looks familiar? LOL. Nice comparison, photos make the differences crystal clear. By the way the SSK is the best I have driven to date. With 2000 miles it gets smoother and smoother. Also it doesn't have the stiff 1st to 2nd glitch that the 997S had (but disapeared after a few thousand miles and only when cold).

You're missing a few deviated options and if you want to ensure that your gear shift boot leather has the same color stitching then you've got to get the DAD - aluminum shift **** and e-brake handle option PLUS 09991 - exclusive option deviated stitching. I'd also recommend getting option CDV - gear shift leather trim. That last one is the small piece between the center console and the gear shift boot and ties it together quite well.
The deviated stitching options that you're missing are:
24902 - Door Stitching in Dev Color
24903 - Door Handle Stitching Dev Clr
24904 - Dev Stitching Side Center Console
24905 - Rear Side Panel Dev Stitching
The deviated stitching options that you're missing are:

You're right, I meant CDZ...sorry about the typo. Did you get option DAD? I'm not sure why Porsche offers deviated stitching only with that particular option. Lots of folks have gotten pissed off when they see that their shift boot isn't deviated.
Slate/Black..
I very much "lucked" into an early dealer spec car.
As of August I will have had my car for one year.
I did not pay a premium.. Again, I just got lucky.
My car came very lightly optioned.
I did not get LSD, I did not get adaptive seats and I did not get carbon brakes.
Having said all that, if I had to do it all over again and I was specing my car, the only thing I "might" change, is the sport seats to adaptive. And that's only because people rave about them. My sport seats are great.
In addition, I track my car and have never, not for a second, felt ANY need for LSD. It's an AWD car!
Also, the brakes on the TT are tremendous. The stopping power is insane and they last, lap after lap. I would not spend the money on the PCCB's.
The only option I truly believe is a "must have" is the Sport/Chrono. Even the upgraded paint is completely un-neccessary.
I do love my short shift kit and the thicker steering wheel and heated seats. And the interior is trimmed perfect without all the upgrades. Some options are just like **** on a bull.

Carbon fiber shifter and leather center area is very tempting as well...
And finally, I'm not really feeling the rims (I need deept dish). Wheelexperts here I come...
