CHIP question

Are AWE, GIAC, Sharkwerks, EVOMS, and Promotive all the same? Or are they specifilly made differently by GIAC based on each tuner's specs?

The GIAC programing is the same from myself to Alex and EVOMS. Protomotive does their own thing as well as the other tuners.

Things like cloning ECUs are only done by two in the industry as far as I know.

IA, EVO and ourselves have the same software from GIAC. Not sure how many we've done between us but I know it's a lot There are a lot of nice options including 91, 93, 100, valet mode, kill mode and a raised rev limiter etc....

I dont think anyone knows, same dyno, same day etc. has not been performed so its currently hard to compare. I do not hear anyone complaining about either though FWIW.

I've met Garret from GIAC when he was busy tuning B5 S4's, smart guy, came across as genuine. Its the route I will probably take when my car arrives just because I can get flashed locally.
