If you do the Evo headers and FS exhaust like I have it will bring a smile to you every time you are in the car. I lower the windows and open the sun roof before I start my turbo everytime I leave for work just so I can hear the engine note bounce of my garage walls...it sounds that good!! I would bet that even if Stephen offered you more than you paid you won't part with your new sound! Every 997TT should sound like this.

New Exhaust
TT Gasman,
I have the Evo Headers along with the complete Fabspeed exhaust on my 997TT and love it. If you ever travel to Baton Rouge you are welcome to see and hear my car.

It is not that bad and I can walk you through it. It is a 4 hour job tops!
Like I said, I use mine as a daily driver (now 13K miles) and love it. Everyone that hears it loves it and no one is reaching for ear plugs when in the car. The power is proven and I will bet the price is not going to be beat. It is a win/win....I promise!!

What ever happened to the previous Fabspeed Supersport loud design? It won the previous exhaust challenge that Imagine Auto put together. I believe it was more of a free flow design than the others and Fab's current models, but no longer used? What happened?

"People complained and wanted NO DRONE. So this GEN 3 was made. We do however have cats and striaght pipes for the young at heart....I am too old for that stuff

Makes sense, although I did not find the drone exessive on my GT700 996TT. I do know that that the cat and straight pipe route is too loud since I tried it before installing the Fab SS's. The SS's do provide some sound attenuation compared to cat/straight pipes, just did not realize that they were a poor market performer due to resonance. Weight savings and performance were also advantageous. Maybe, I'm not old enough..

The 997TT is not as loud as the 996TT with the striaght pipes because of the turbine wheel and the design with the VGTs. It is pretty loud but not like what i had on my 996TT. Nevertheless I enjoy the Gen 3s. When I want it they are there, when I am crusing I am not getting a headache.
