I Did Make Some Silicone 7/8 Wide Strips To Go Underneth The Straps That Hold On The Muffler's....

 

Is the sound of the exhaust "porschelike" (meaning does it sound like the stock unit only louder) or does this exhaust change the tone of the car completely? Its so hard to tell from the videos but the 2 systems that stood out for me were Fabspeed and AWE as far as being the most "porschelike". Am I making any sense here? When I choose to do the upgrade I am doing it for better flow and HP more than to change the tune of the car. My car is just 2 months old and I am one of the few who really like the sound of the stock system. My guess is that Porsche fiddled with it a bit to make it more pleasing because some of the earlier turbos sounded like a blender (seriously). My favorite years for Porsche exhaust notes are the air cooled sounds of the early 70's (911T, 911E and 911S). Thats music alla Porsche!

 

I can tell you when at steady speed and the windows down mine sounds like a 77 with SSIs on it. The harmonic sound that you get with the old air cooled, that is what it sounds lile. I love it!

I have loud, med and quiet. Mot what we end up selling is quiet or the med range exhaust. None of them really drone with the excpetion of the loud. Or I am too old

 

So, your car has the quiet? That's the one I want!
