I know some of you have done this. I saw it somewhere on here from a board member.

The Vent is $44.00 from Porsche. They recommend a new bumper to install. I don't think so.

Am I missing anything outside of making sure it aligns up with the Turbo's hood?

Since my car is white I thought it would offset it a little in the front.

Also who here sells the Porsche Crest in silver for the hood? Anyone local in ATL, GA - so I can just pick them up? If not - any website or sponsor would be greatly appreciated. Eric(bumperplugs) - you sell these? I thought I looked over your site but I wasn't sure.

I was going to do it but decided against it...I still have the vent somewhere. I'll wait til I can get the GT2 wing. Gotta balance out the downforces on both front/rear.

And yes, Eric is the only one that sells the authetic silver Porsche crest. The cheap copies tends to fade over time.

Do you think that the vents will cause a downforce issue in the front? without the balance?

 

A few guys I spoke to about the downforces all said to wait til I get the GT2 wing so I guess that's what I'm going to do. If I'm going to do something then I want to do it right. I'm even considering getting the GT2 front bumper too.

 

I really like the front bumper. I think its the clean line without the fogs that I like about it. I wonder how much they would charge for that since its a limited production car so that parts would not just be something they would make a lot of.

You are right about making sure you do it right. I will inquire as well and see what some others are saying before I do any cutting.
