Never park your TT in the open. I failed to park mine under cover last night and awoke this morning to find that a tree had fallen only 3-4 feet in front of it. Good thing I hadn't pulled all the way up in the driveway or I'd be tied up on the phone with the insurance company now rather than typing this note. Somthing similar almost happened to me, when I was doing the Giro just two weeks ago. I was driving down this long driveway at the Ojai Valley Inn, then I heard this loud cracking sound (kind of like lightning, but there wasn't a cloud in the sky). I looked up and saw that this big @$$ tree right above me was loosing one of its branches. So I had to gas it a little and it landed behind me.
