Just post the rematch so we'll know for sure. It did seem odd to me for a 700 hp 3900 lbs car (well over 4k with 2 passengers) to pull a 700 hp 3500 lbs car.

 

I thought this race was for fun. Did you guys have big money on it or manufacturer backing? Taking it way too serious.

The main reason I didnt post was due to the fact the M5 had no NOS during the run which gave it no chance against the Porsche, a stock 997 Turbo will beat the M5 in this situation and 700hp 997 turbo will destroy it.....Without the NOS on the M5 its a sitting duck, Porsche is much faster in this situation....Enjoy

What started as a friendly run escalated to ridiculous heights in this thread. It's only right to fill your bottle (get an extra bottle), put some $$ up and race fairly. Would love to see that video.

 

wow...without the NOS the m5 really didnt have a chance...youre right on that...but you also dont have the amount of drivetrain loss that the 997TT does, but then you have more weight...whos here to debate semantics? either way, it def was good of you to show the second video...even though you lost, that to me shows at least some character. a race is a race, win or lose...

I THINK the second race with the no nos , as there no juice at all or did it have a leak?.... if it had a leak lets say it went down to a 100shot right? because i dont think it will leak completely 150hp shot completely will a 50shot give you a 12 car advantage ? the second vidoe the porsche pulled hard i dont see how even a 150 shot at 100% will give a 8 car boost ..... i cant wait till the third race i say we do us27 next time

190 mph top end run. What does it prove? Give me 1/4 mile times or lap times on a road course. Take it to the track guys and be safe.
