Buddy asked a similar question so I'll answer both. The better comparison is with the 430 as the CS is so raw and the 430 incorporated many of the CS characteristics (F1 tranny & exhaust). In the 430 the seating position is lower (although the standard TT seats blow away the 430s), I like the angle of the wheel much better, and the F1 is without compare, as is the sound (probably the best stock exhaust made). The whole feel of the cockpit is more "sports car" like. The 430 is probably as fast as the TT (or close to it) but the biggest difference is the torque of the TT. The TT pulls in every gear whereas you feel the need to downshift in the 430, especially in the higher gears. The other big difference is the "wow" factor. Everyone stops and stares at the 430 (even in Titanium which is the color I had) - its much more unique and exotic looking (people love the glass engine cover). The TT definately flies under the radar. Not that 911s are common in these parts, but not too many people know the difference between a C2 and a TT. Actually, this a good thing where I live and was a huge factor in selling the 430.

yes they are launch cars... thats the only thing on the ground right now. I will drive mine until a meteor comes up then trade it in... i just love that color. Maybe a GT silver may spark interest it is a nice color.

As soon as the cars start hitting the road and people relize only about 800 are being made in 08 they will dissapear quick.

Eric, have they improved the exhaust sound for the 997TT? The coupe sound is almost non-existent.
