Weather Conditions on the Turbo997

Hey waassup people its me again...

got a question for you guys... Is it true that the turbo works much better at night since the weather is cold? Because when i got down on track last weekend, it was extremely hot and i felt that my car had some problems. It didn't want to run as fast as i normally do. Turbo boost builds better at colder conditions if im right.. correct me if im wrong?

Cool car = more power
Hot Car = less power

From Howstuffworks:
Cool the incoming air - Compressing air raises its temperature. However, you would like to have the coolest air possible in the cylinder because the hotter the air is, the less it will expand when combustion takes place. Therefore, many turbocharged and supercharged cars have an intercooler. An intercooler is a special radiator through which the compressed air passes to cool it off before it enters the cylinder. See How Car Cooling Systems Work for details.
