Well, it figures...Porsche better open it's eyes.

This is just the beginning, wait until the R8 with a V10 hits the streets
if they use twin turbo's it will be highly tunable too |
I look at it in a positive light - the 998tt should be targeted beyond this benchmark. Also, an aligned and chipped tt should be close to the Gt2 #'s

its still a nissan
(yes i am an elitist pig) |
Sports car rivalries are like a good boxing match.
It goes back and forth. |
yep, think it may be time to put that flat 8 in we have been talking about. Right about.....now...

i plan on having both :) they r both incredible cars

If the figure is true for the GT-R, Porsche better step up its game!
|
Jap Junk!!! I would rather have a sister in a whore house than drive a Datsun!
|
The 350Z nismo is actually a very nice car. Doesn't suffer from most of the afflictions that many Japanese cars have in regards to build and material quality. The Skyline is a very hi-end car and will rival Porsche in quality and performance. They are something to be taken very seriously. I agree, it might be time to put in a flat 8. I'd be happy to add 2 more cylinders to a 911 as long as it's not in "V" formation, keep them flat!

2 seconds on a track long 20+ Kms it's nothing...supposed that the Turbo can be 3 seconds faster than its unofficial 7 min 40 secs...:p

Competition is a great thing.
|
I once owned a Z car, and it was a phenomenal car for the money. Not a Porsche, sure, but helluva package. The Z of today is even better. Yeah, competition is good.

I would not buy it just because I refuse to go get service at a Nissan dealership and get my car worked on by the same techs who work on Sentras and Altimas. Just like the $70K Phaeton, a $70K Nissan is an oxymoron and is destined to the same fate. I will consider it if it were an Infiniti.... |
