We never thought we would be in the camera business until we were shown this.

It's unreal.

-Mil Spec.
-Remote that can mount anywhere.
-8Gb card.
-Runs on 4 AA batteries!!!!
-Wide angle lense.
-HD upgrade due out shortly.
-Multiple camera upgrade due out shortly.
-Works in 3 feet of water.

Best part. The recording unit has a screen on it. There is no need for a laptop to set up the viewing angle!

I took it to my local kart track last night. They are 6.5hp gas karts that are well maintained, but still vibrate heavily.

My buddy and I intentionally mounted it as poorly as possible so see what the quality would be.

Regardless of where we put it, or how we mounted, the quality was outstanding.

Todd is going to edit down the video so we can post it up. It was a true testament of how good it really is.

At the PSDS, they were all using the Race-keeper system from www.race-keeper.com. I was impressed with their setup. Gives you various types of information from g-forces, rpm throughout the lap, speed, location on the track, etc with two separate video angles within one video. What was really cool was that we were able to view two videos side by side, one of us driving and the other of the instructor driving. That way we could compare the differences between either drivers. Very impressed with their setup.

It looks like the VIO system which I love btw, only records video. I don't see provisions for data acquistion.
