Sorry for more questions... but your catalog states that this is 1/2 inches lower than stock lip... so should we expect more scrapes than the standard lip?
If true then if the car is lowered it will be a bigger problem.
If the lip gets scraped does it go in the trash or can it be repaired?
How about making side skirts .... that would be cool... nice all around carbon kit, get some mirroe inserts and something for the spoiler.... perfect for a car like mine....

Scraping is purely dependent on how you drive. If your car is lowered to much, if you go straight on into steep curbs or driveways, etc. My car is very low and it is all about the angle. Will you possibly scrape the underside where not visible, yes. Do you need to worry about that, no.
Whats wrong with the pattern in this picture? It does not look like it is laid right on the corner.
How many layers? Are the construction layers uni-lateral or single layer? Any fiberglass layers? What type of resin is used, polyester based or epoxy?

No answer to the question below?
I did not send you an email, so you must have me mixed up with someone else.

If you get email notifications of thread responses, then you saw my response. I deleted it. Your posts involving Vivid Racing threads are negative towards us, I dont intend further those that have nothing good to say or question products when they have no intention on purchasing.
I think you are reading to far into my post.
If you look right below the fog light in your picture the weave does not look right?
I ask simply about the contsruction of your product which I am sure anyone would like to know.
If it has any fiberglass layers the it is not true CF construction.
If it has a few layers then this adds to the strength of the product. You know how easily these lips come in contact with the ground.
The different resins is simply another valid question. Polyester gets spider webs when coming into contact with the ground, it also shrinks overtime deforming the product. Where epoxy is more flexible and will not spider although it is more expensive.
I do not see how these questions are putting down vivid in anyway as you reply states. I believe this is the second time I posted in your threads.

There are several posts by you on my threads.
To address your questions or concerns... I do not see this "flaw" in person or in the picture. All carbon has natural flaws in it. This part is handmade here in AZ not a sweatshop overseas. We take great pride in making sure it is very good quality and finish. Like most ALL aero or carbon products on the market including hoods, trunks, lip spoilers, etc, it has a fiberglass layer as a base and carbon top. If you cant drive a lowered car or hit curbs, you should not own any type of aero parts. The material is epoxy and the same manufacturer of this has made our 996TT lip spoilers, carbon air boxes and more products over the past several years.
