octane booster
a stock gt3rs not enough?lol.... anyways i posted a problem a couple days ago, and a member was helpful enough to explain octane boosters for me.
"Porsche recommends against using fuels with a common octane booster called methylcyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl (MMT), since it can cause problems with the emmissions systems and you may get a CEL some Octane booster contain this stuff." so knowing this you should try to get octane boosters that do not have that ingredient listed above. hope this post helps you out. Next time you should post questions like this in the forum section, instead of the vendor section you will have more people respond to you..just a thought

NOS Racing formula really works and it does have MMT in it's formula. The biggest thing you need to keep in mind is treat rates. Don't put a bottle in too little fuel. A car that has a chip will likely enjoy the increases faster, but the stock computer should also recognize the improved octane level pretty quickly as well. If used correctly in a clean engine, you will experience no emissions or CEL issues. The MMT will cause your spark plugs to turn a little red. If you had another issue with the car, and the dealer looked at your plugs they may give you a hard time, but that is dependent on the dealer. The other nice thing about the NOS Racing Formula is that it has a lot of detergents in it, so it acts as a fuel Injector cleaner as well.
The Porsche manual does recommend against using it (hey my BMW and VW manuals used to say I could void my warranty by using a cell phone in the car).
