I am serious and used autotrader.com, cars.com, porsche.com/usa, and even Ebay.....3 monthes past and no luck... any input will be appreciated.

The question is very plain. How, where to find one with VIN has 997, Just like someone looking for certain number for their future car. I know it is not easy and most people will think this must be some kind of joke. Think when you are going to pay over 90k for a porsche, some picky about color, interior, options, and mine concern is the VIN. Is there anything wrong about it? "the true wisdom is don't let anyone know that you know nothing."

Here's one way how...

just go to every dealership in the world, and ask them to show you the VINs of the cars they have in stock.

go to your dealer and ask them to pull an inventory for the US. See if its in there. If not, I would probably go get a Boxster and get 987 or a Cayenne and get 955
