no spare tire in 997

According to MotorWeek, Porsche has eliminated the spare, I assume they will therefore have 'run flat" tires, this will restrict the choices for new tires in the future

No, I betcha it will have a can of fix-a-flat,

not run flat tires--too many tire performance compromises with run flats.
