I couldnt reply to your post for some reason. I think its because I am new to this site and have not posted yet but anyway, I have a 2007 997 that is arctic silver and I would consider trading my decklid for yours if you are interested. Email me some pics if you are interested at aparker5@triad.rr.com and I will send you some pics of mine. It looks like a simple swap with just one electrical plug that must operate the fan, brake light, and the motor that lifts the spoiler. It appears that I would just have to unplug the connector and remove two small bolts on each side.
