It was a struggle in the northwest, I was able to get 2% off spec order... to be perfectly honest, I would have been happy with $100 off

I got 5% off MSRP when I bought my 06 C4S in Sept 2006. Thats by dealing with the internet sales manager. I am in Los Angeles area.

5 % off from Uncle Robb

I special ordered my '07 C4S from Stevens Creek. Robb Eglesser kicked down 5 % off.

Carlsen would not budge.

Shop around - also, outlying less popular area dealers are happy to deal.

My friend got his '08 C4S from Carlsen for 8% off his $104k sticker. But I think this is because the salesman made a mistake with the pricing and the manager agreed to let it go anyways. I would expect at least 5%.

You could safely split the difference between invoice and msrp.

That's because car dealers in the northwest are crooks. People here seem perfectly content paying sticker or even above sticker for cars. Come to think of it everything is stupid expensive up here.

You might be able to find a double digit discount if you can find a new '07 as I did last month. btw - dealers sub out the title work, so it's no biggy buying in one state and having it titled and paying sales tax in your home state.
