Does anyone have a SY car with the Sport Designs painted SY? I've been thinking about that but the only place I've seen them is on the car configurator.

I wouldn't suggest painting the wheels the same color as the car unless its black ... SY on SY would look a bit off.

I painted mine orange:

I was recntly at a Porsche dealer where they had all the 19" Porsche wheels out on display to pick up and handle. the Sport Design wheels were very heavy. The stock S and Turbo wheels were the lightest.

They are ridiculously heavy .. I usually use the Kinesis F110s; unless I am going or a roadtrip or track day.

For a track day I'd use your F110's and leave the heavy sport designs at home.

Thats the plan .. But since I am still learning the lines .. I would rather scuff up my 'other rims' before I put some dents in the F110s. I am also leaning towards a set of 18" CCWs for track duty.

good idea...thos F110's are super nice. I did 11 tracks days this year and did not scratch any wheels. I also got some CCW 18's and they are very nice...totally built for the track.

that really does look sweet!
Do you (or anyone) have any other photos? I have an '08 Boxster S on order in Meteor Gray and Black full leather interior. I ordered Carrera S 19" wheels and am debating if I should get color matched, black or leave chromed as is??

HELP!!!

Does anyone else have any photos???

I am getting '08 Meteor Gray BS and am trying to envision Gray (matching) wheels. I ordered Carrera S wheels. I am wondering why no one has done color to match Meteor Gray? Perhaps that answers my question in of itself?
