I have an '06 with 8K on the clock, what will be the service? do I really need to bring it in? Hate to go to the dealer, -$$$

Mine's due this coming week - '06 997S w/ 5K miles.

I was told the service entailed an oil change and recommended brake fluid flush.

My dealer usually charges $300 for the oil change; don't know how much for the brake fluid flush. Check your dealer's website - mine has a coupon for the oil change for $200 and brake fluid flush at $169.

I just had my oil changed at my local dealer. Cost was only $162.55. $300 seems steep for, if I remember correctly, 8 quarts of oil.
