I am currently running the Bridgestone RE050A N0 and had the Pirelli Rosso N1 before. The RE050A have much better traction in the wet and a bit better in dry than the Rosso. Only downside is that they are about 2-3 lbs heavier per tire. But they also cost much much less: $286 for the rears compared to around $460 for the Pirelli. I am ordering wheels soon and will be going with the new Continental Contisport Contact 3!

The newly introduced Michelin 325/30-19 is a Pilot Sport Cup with a softness similar to the Pirelli P Zeros.

It's the same size Michelin has been making for Goodyear for the OEM Z06 tire.

The Sport Contact 3's are neat tires but sizes are more for Porsche's than Ferrari's. Not wide enough yet.

They do make a 325/25 20 in the unlikely event that you get 20" rims for your car!

My cousin and i went to pep-boys to get our tires, cause they had the buy three get the fourth free (Any tire any size). The only catch was you couldnt get stag-tire fit. So since we both have the same car i ordered the four front tires, and he got the four back tires. Problem solved!

Disgraceful!

This is why I am going to the 325/30-19's as they are a dead on match for the OEM 18" tire.

And yes the pain would have been worse.

Very nice Fiorano spider!
Who says I don't have them? Porsche tires or the Ferrari steamrollers!

I had MAJOR issues trying to buy 305/30/19's a month ago, Tire Rack had some then they did not have them then they had them but could only sell to Porsche dealers...bunch of BS! Luckly Suncoast Porsche sold me the tires for the same price as Tire Rack. They bought the tires from Tire Rack for me and just charged me the Tire Rack price. Suncoast Porsceh is a great outfit and they have my next Porsche car purchase and they have already seem me for more business.

I have often wondered how T.R. actually does business, and this scenario would concern me.

One is always better off developing a relationship with a good local tire shop who will always be there when you have a need. So what if you pay a few bucks more. Will a local tire dealer tell you he can only sell a certain size to a certain car dealer?

Internet buying has its plusses and minuses.

Support your local businesses before they are all gone and there will be no one there to help you whenn you need the help!

Two questions. What tires are stock with the 06 997's? Mine came with Pilot Powers. Not a huge fan of the French.... but they make on hell of a tire. I run them on my bike to.

Two- how does your 360 compare to the 911? And have you driven the 430 any comments?

I would like my next car to be the 430 Convertable or the Gallardo Spyder.

Any thoughts there?

Yep I TOTALLY agree and I called around to a bunch of local tire dealers and none had tires in stock to fit my 997S or they could not get them or they took my info and never called back. This is every major tire dealer in Tampa! NTW refered me to Tire Rack and said they are the only ones that can get these tires.

Stock 997S tire size is:
front 235/35/19
rear 295/30/19 or with Carrera Sport wheels 305/30/19

Never heard of Pilot Powers but I have had excellent performance with Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires.
