We only have one dealer in Kuwait .. They have final say on all warrantied items. I even switch my rims to stock when I take her in for service.

I believe with must software upgrades this is the most noticeable improvement.

Glad it worked out! That is awesome. There is no substitute for Softronic!

Once you really see how the other people are programming, you will see why. With our new partnership with Softronic, I have learned quite alot. I am a marketing guy, not a tech tuner, so for us normal people, it makes sense. Softronic gives you the best map the first time. Unlike the others (their names can be found on the right side or by other shops) you do not need to buy extra maps for race gas, stock map, or believe in getting 4 maps blah blah with Softronic... Porsche ships the car with the Valet mode, so knock that one out. Your stock map is not your stock map anymore with the other guys setup. Btw is it weird that those 2 companies software is the same because of employee issues? If you were to take your car to Porsche, the dealer would analyze the data and see the ECU has been tampered with using their "Stock" map. So another one you can knock out. Now your down to 2 maps. For the 91-93 octane and 98-103 octane map, well, what happens if you find yourself mixing fuel and you are at 95 or 96 octane, what about C16 leaded race gas which burns slower and requires major changes to timing maps? The global settings they change do not adjust. Softronic is actually adjusting the lambda and timing tables and doing true mapping. This way no matter what intake, exhaust, fuel, or environment you drive your car in, the ECU will adjust accordingly. So... yes with the Flash Cable included in our $995 price ($125 value) you can flash back to your true ORIGINAL file at anytime then reload your tuned file.

BTW we can ship the cable to your international customers and you can do the file uploading and downloading at your convenience. So dont worry about dealers and tuner shops to depend on.

Drove the car to work today, it drives similar to having it on Sport Mode, but more linear and very smooth to drive.. I dont have Sport Chrono on my car so it's a great upgrade.

Mines a tiptronic and I was shocked with the changes, my butt dyno definitely feels that it's way faster .. I dont have any mods yet aside from this and I'm very satisfied..

I've had some credit with Vivid, from my old Cayenne because I cant make up my mind what parts to buy cause I keep changing cars..LOL
I was able to use it with no problem. So not sure what it's about with some negative post against them..
The service provided by Vivid and Softronic is excellent... I was being contacted by both companies asking if everything is ok and if I need help.Wow!

Next up X51 intake, Headers, exhaust.. and tips.. that's it i might change cars again

alex I am thinking about ordering this as well. were there any options to select when you sent the file to softeonic, e.g sport on/off etc. i have a bas carrera with no sport chrono.

thanks
Ronnie

We can have the Sport option available to be turned on all the time. No extra charges for a Race Map, Stock File, or Flash Cable.

let us know!

Dan,
Would the sport option turned on all the time be just like pushing the sport button irt my PSE? If so, would I be able to turn the PSE off by pushing the sport button?

The sport button can be activated to be turned on all the time. So no I think is the answer to your question. I would just have the flash done without that feature so you can still turn on the Sport Button. The sport button ( I think this is right) simply is a change in your throttle response since the car is drive by wire. With sport mode off, you push the pedal down 1/2 way the car acts as if it is less then that. With Sport mode on, the throttle sensor will give you exactly what you do with the throttle. That is how it was explained to me for the 997TT. For those E46 M3 guys, same thing if you have driven one.

Hope that helps!

It also turns on PASM, (Can be turned off by pushing the PASM button next to the sprots button) as well as changes the PSM engagement point.
It wold be nice to default the sports button on but be able to turn it off when wanted.
Every time I start the car I push the button to turn on the sports exhaust but there are times, not very few, that I want it off.
Do you have dyno charts of the pre and post flash?

You will not lose PASM. The button still functions properly.

Unfortunately I do not have dyno charts as I have not had a local car to do. You can see by the feedback of other 997 users that they are very happy with the results. What I would do is get the flash, add a K&N cold air intake, and upgrade to our Agency Power exhaust. Night and Day guaranteed.
