FYI

H&R lowering springs have a softer spring rate than stock.

I would go for the eibach's.

We have contracted and Eibach is producing spring for us for the 997TT

When we rated the 997TT springs from H&R we found they were softer than stock and made the ride even worse.

Eibach is the supplier to Porsche ( H&R is too)
Eiabch also supplies Techart and now GMG

Hope that helps.

Here is the our 997TT - WC Sport lowering spring made by Eibach on a 997TT

Spyder did you sell your H&R's to Yowzah996? If so, I have a set of H&R's for sale as well for anyone else who is interested. If Spyder's are still available buy his first.

As others have said, don't get either, get Damptronics (true coil overs with adjustable height). OEM shocks were not designed for the lower ride height.

sorry to bring this thread back up from the dead - but does anyone know how long the stock shocks last when combined with eibach springs versus H&R springs?

Is it worth getting springs with the risk of the shocks giving out? What are the odds of that even happening? Does the way you drive it on a regular basis have anything to do with it?
