HELP! Nav (PCM) faceplate removal on a 997

I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the front navigation (PCM) faceplate? I can easily remove the unit assembly from the center console but I cannot seem to figure out how to remove the front plate for painting. My local Porsche dealer cannot help either. If anyone knows of any car audio company or body/paint shop that has done this, please PM me.

I think Sharkwerks installed a painted radio (non-pcm) into a customer's GT3RS. I'm sure they would know someone. However, from what the pictures on the thread showed, they actually removed the whole radio, not just the face.

I can remove the whole nav (PCM) assembly easily. I just cannot seem to figure out how to remove the front cover once I have the assembly out of the dash. I was informed that nav assemblies are shipped back to Porsche for repair so there has to be a simple way.

I have seen the Sharkwerks painted console on the RS. Unfortunately the standard radio assembly is very different and much easier to remove.
