Tint!! Since you live in a warm area, look for film that alse helps heat rejection (everyone does in Dubai as it is a must!!)

I owuld not smooke tail lights on a white car...If $$$ not an object, I owuld do the all red sport tail lights offered by Porsche Tequipment

No tint,... Leaving the windows un-tinted looks so much nicer, the tint is played. Dont even consider smoking the lenses, clears up front and silver badge are the only thing's I'd do. Tint-less is the new style!

Black cars with dark tint FTL
White cars without tint FTW

I do agree that it's cleaner without tint, though in LA i think it's necessary.

My last 3 cars were all convertibles and if it got hot i could put the roof down, his is a coupe (As is mine) and it locks in the heat. The tint will hopefully reduce the heat exposure and it will also protect the leather.

Good point J, it will keep the car cooler- Maybe you can do without it on a white car, but if it's done soley to keep it cool I can understand.

I have a white 'S' and have been going back and forth for months, after getting in the car last weekend (was hi 70's) it made my mind up, it was very hot inside. I actually have the natural brown interior and i'd hate to think what it would have been like with black!

It will also match the wheels nicely (just had mine blacked out)

Thanks for all your opinions guys! I originally did not want to tint or smoke the lights at all but seeing that the wheels are black, it might work together cohesively...aww hell I should just get some gold HRE wheels to match the interior! I have much to think about now haha!

Is the best place to get the silver crest just from suncoast (or other P-car dealers) or from aftermarket sponsors? Is it is easy to take the gold one off and put the silver one on?

If you get bored of your exhaust let me know, i wanted to buy it from Ian if the car ended up getting parted out!
As of now, I can't say I'm bored of the exhaust just yet!

What did you pay for this car? it's beautiful. I think white with dark tint is awesome looking, but don't tint the tail light. I just tinted my 05 Carrera S Cab and it looks sweet. I have a great tinting guy if you're interested, he's mobile here in S.Cal 714 998-7797 ask for Toby. He tinted 3 of my cars, tell him you were refered by Jeff in Laguna Beach (the Porsche guy). My Carrera was $160

It always boils down to color combo for me. With the black wheels and tan interior contrast, I would go with a black tone tint just to maintain a black and white theme(no inserts or smoked lenses!) but if you had red interior or black then I would suggest no tint. Red just seems to scream out, SEE ME! The black and white color theme looks clean but when you throw tan into the mix, it disrupts the flow. If you had a polished or machined finish on the wheels then no tint would look cleaner or even a light platinum(very light). Again, color combo makes a difference but it all comes down to keeping your self cool...in more ways then one. Sweet car and good luck with your dilemma.
