Was the exact car in these pictures on the 55 last night? I happened to be cruising down to newport beach when I ran into it. The kit really sets the 997 apart in person, looks amazing, and I saw it at night

@ Vorsteiner:
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I received my rearbumper 2 days agoo here in Belgium. Myself and my body shop are very much satisfied with the quality of the bumper!!!! The bumper is even nicer in real!!!! The carbon is nicely integrated and real!!!! Within two weeks the bumper will be painted and mounted. The bodyshop did not have the time for next week....

I hope that the planned all new sideskirts and frontbumper will come out soon, sothat I can complete my bodykit, the only one here in Belgium i guess!!!! So do your best!!

$rouji -

We have been working closely with Vorsteiner on various components and serve as a master distributor for them.

I just wanted to chime in here and say that I'm really glad you are happy. Send some pictures when it's finished!

We have serveral BIG boxes in the back of our shop right now waiting to go on a 997.....

Stay tuned for pictures and a full update.

For anyone on the fence, give Vorsteiner a shot. I think you will be very pleased with your decision.

Peter, Mike, and team - keep up the good work.

Here are some pictures of my Vorsteiner rear bumper.
I am from Belgium and i have orderd the bumper through this forum and all the order process was great!!!! Vorsteiner have delivered me the bumper according to their promiss such as time and way.....
My bodyshop told me that the fitment is great and there was no additional work or adjustments to be made, except for the parkingsensors.....

On a Belgian forum everybody loves the bumper, and nobody knows Vorsteiner here
Myself i am very much pleased!!!!!

Ps: I am a Europrojektz member in the Belgian chapter!!!

Very, very nice.

Just curious what the composition of materials that make up the parts? Not sure what this Honey comb matrix is?

Are the bumpers fiberglass or pastic?
The wing and decklid peices pastic, fiberglass?
Looks like there's some carbon fiber in there as well.

The bumper that is show on $rouji Porsche Carrera is DVWP Bumper with a intergrated Carbon Fiber diffuser. We do offer the bumper in full carbon fiber version as well.

The Porsche deck lid is offered in either dry carbon or DVWP. The wing blade is dry carbon.

Vorsteiner Dry Fiber Woven Vacuumed Plastic (DVWP)
Vorsteiner is proud to announce a newly developed composite production process that will now be available on all of the Vorsteiner product range for 2005 code named DVWP.
This newly developed high tech composite production processes is called Dry Vacuumed Woven Plastic (DVWP) to replace wetlay up Fiberglass and Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic. The Vorsteiner factory utilizes a high compression vacuum method much like the dry carbon fiber production process to produce layers of air tight composite sheets that are impregnated with resins to create a tight and strong chemical bond.
This dry vacuumed Woven plastic is advantageous in many ways to wet lay up fiberglass that typically has a much lower material density (measured by kilos per cubic decimeter) making it much heavier than the new DVWP parts. DVWP also exhibits a higher heat tolerance enabling the material to retain its structural shape and design under high temperature environments and everyday driving conditions.
· Elimination of air bubbles and air pockets
· Reduction of parts warping and waving over time
· 25-35% reduction of weight over fiberglass wetlay up process
· Superior fitment of final parts due to increased control of material thickness
· Stiffer and more durable parts due to full impregnation and bonding of resins into composite layers
· Superior quality control and finish

This vacuum forming process is ultimately designed to allow the DVWP finished parts to maximize weight to strength ratios, offering superior stiffness and durability much like Vorsteiner’s Dry Carbon Fiber Vacuumed Plastic.

Please feel free to email me at mike@vorsteiner.com if you have any further questions. Thank you
