MartinJF is infamous around these parts
Installed mine tonight (it arrived today)

The install was easy and everything worked – or so I thought. The left rear window became inoperable after the install; I tried programming Function 4 - Extended comfort window control (to 0, 1 and 2), no change and finally I went through changing Function 1 - Module Enable to off and back the window did not come back to life in either mode.

I removed the unit and returned it to stock; the left rear window came back to life. A few quick checks to make sure everything is okay and I reinstalled the unit, after that it all worked okay!

I decided I would reprogram Function 5 - Lock-In automatic powerlocks and Function 6 - Chirp Sound on lock/unlock to off and all is well.

I also did some dry runs with the sports Chrono Package that will be fun at the track!

FWIW, I found the installation a breeze when I did mine last summer. The instructions were clear and accurate.

And it appears the install for the coupe actually involves removing wires from the stock harness, using adaptors the smarttop, and also SPLICING the factory wires. I was told the install involves no splicing or cutting. Not a big concern for me, but it will be traceable by the dealer if something was to go wrong. Just a fyi.
