repainting

I'm in need of a new rear bumper but they cost over 1000 dollars plus paint. I found a nice used one on ebay for 400 but it is painted charcoal, my car is white. Will repainting the bumper white come out just as good as painting an unpainted bumper?

Yea, it should be fine. As long as the body shop preps the bumper well enough, there won't be any difference.

Raja- i hit i backed into a car in my own driveway, yes it was extremely stupid lol

Do you guys know if the alignment of the engine cover can be played around with, the hit was at a slow speed and i already removed the rear bumper and everything is fine internally but the engine cover seems to be slightly unaligned (a little higher on one side) but it wasnt hit and it looks fine, can a body shop realign it fairly easily?

You can easily do it yourself. There two bolts 9/10mm on each side of the decklid where you adjust.
