nice but $$$$

4+K, come on though how can a fiberglass piece really be worth that much $$$$, either they are trying to make up for the fact that they will only sell a limited number or they spent hundreds of thousands on R/D which I highly doubt...make one, make the mold and then make more. Just never got it why some many lips, side strakes and rear spoilers are just so crazy expensive....2500 OK I can see but come on 4+K....

But thanks for the post and finding that, not complaining to you, just can't believe the costs on these things.... insane. I bet you could mod a used 933T wing for less.... found one for 500 bucks..... that leaves me 3500 for fab..... at 100hr (thats a lot) that would allow for someone with some skills to spend nearly a full week, 7hrs a day M-F making this fit....bet they could do it in two full days if again they were talented in their craft....

But I am a novice in regards to this wo maybe I am completely way off.....

Dominique997SC is infamous around these parts
Doens't that cheesy thing move when you go faster? If you would try to put an OEM 993 Turbo wing on a 997, you will have to consider this.

?

cheesy thing are you referring to the stock retractible spoiler that comes on basically all 997's....(not tirbors, aero's, GT3's etc )

You simply disconnet and it stays in the down position...

I thought I read that somewhere... any other Porsche wings that slide over the back instead of popping out like the 997 does?

not sure

Hmmm always thought it was fixed and did not move but I could be wrong as I have never owned a 993.... not sure I have seen many people refer to the styling of the 993T wing as "cheesey", more people actually commenting on this be there favorite style wing, nostaligic a bit etc... or when you say cheesey are you referring to its nick name commented by another earlier, like the picnioc table.....

I'm not too sure what you're asking. Every Porsche without a fixed wing has the 'pop out' thing at speed.

Has anyone ever considered putting on the 997 TT wings? I saw one on a C2S? Fits really well and nice! I was under the impression that it would only fit on TT and C4 or Cabs.

I was indeed playing with words, referring to the nick name other use... I don't consider them cheesy at all, don't get me wrong... I like them too!

The 993 turbo wing don't move up or down, also the 997tt wings wouldn't fit in 997 C2S or 4S. I find this's two wing photos with fit the 997, close to the 993 turbo wing.

those are really nice, they actually look like they fit the body lines, I've yet to see any wing out there like these. if you look hard enough you can always find it... good luck with your wing finding.. this may be the answer vs all that bodywork/customizing etc.
