When did you purchase the warranty (eg, how long before you hit the 50,000 mile factory warranty limit)? Do you mind saying what it cost? I have a 05 C2S cab and may need 3rd party extended warranty in a year or so if I don't buy a newer car. Glad to hear you've had good luck on 70k miles. That is encouraging, as I have 22k on mine.

ext warranty

well porsche said i have burned my throwout bearing and my clutch so the flywheel failure is due to heat from this event(s). so the warranty direct people need to see some type of failure that is not related to this clutch/throwout bearing heat thing. in other words i'm not covered by my warranty. i don't abuse my car off the line and i don't ride the clutch pedal while driving. s--t, seems like i never have a decent argument with these porsche people. later

That was my guess. The clutch is a routine wear issue and with 70K miles they will wiggle out of paying. The motor they will cover .
