Cool

OUCH. $4k + paint and TT lights...(how much are those?) I love the look though -- just can't justify laying it down to replace a perfectly beautiful stock front end.

Damn $3395. Sorry but that is steep esp for not being an OEM piece. If that were the price for a Porsche bumper I could justify it...but not for third party. Why such a steep price? All Vorsteiner CSL replica parts for the e46 M3 were cheaper than OEM...just think it should be the same in this case (should be cheaper than OEM GT3 fron bumper), but thats just my 0.02.

Wow that is a huge difference in price !
I ran into this same thing with the NSX(I used to own).
I want to be clear and say I haven't seen either one of these products in this thread but just be careful with the E-bay one.Until someone actually buys one and puts it on without compromises,I would be reluctant.
Vorsteiner has sold previous pieces without being a problem to fit(according to a few posts here on 6SPEED) !
This may reflect in the price range "You get what you pay for".

Again,I just want to be clear "I haven't seen either piece"

And if that one for $1900 fits what a deal !

I think that is way to much and from what i have found out from talking to people that have had either Vorsteiner, Ruf, Techart or Rinspeed bumpers installed, that there was fitment work needed to be done on all of them. For the kind of money these companies charge they should drop in like factory equipment. Suncoast has the GT3 OEM bumper on sale for $1295, this is the kind of price range this thing should be in or maybe even $1500-$2000, but $3400 plus the addition lights, come on. Oh, and thats what they say the bumper starts at, bet you request all carbon fiber and where talking $5000 plus. All this stuff is a case of "it's for a Porsche so stick it to them" If this stuff was for a Civic or a Mustang it would be $500. Also, this whole thing about they dont sell as much for our cars as compaired to civic's is a load of crap too. Although they may not sell as many bumpers as they do for Civic's, remember that there are hundreds of companies making civic bumpers, so in relative terms it all comes out the same.

This is why i have decided to go with the GT3 bumper and Rear wing for my car. It's OEM, fits perfect, comes pre primed and for Porsche OEM parts, it's actually pretty reasonable. Also, if i ever wanted to pull the parts and sell them I bet i could get a pretty sizable portion of my money back, this aftermarket stuff, next to nothing.

Just my .02 or .03 i guess

wow. it is a beautiful bumper, its just a shame that so many people will be priced out of it. i'm sure that some people (not i) will still throw down, though.
