Narrow Body wheels vs. Wide Body wheels
An 11" 52mm offset rear wheel will stick out 15 mm further than the stock 67 mm offset wheel which is standard for a narrow body 997. An 11.5" wheel with 52mm offset would stick out another 1/4". I always suggest discussing these issues with Wheel Enhancement folks, as they know how far it is safe to go with more aggressive offsets.
Sorry to dig up this old thread but this is the closest match to the question I searched for.
I have been contemplating getting some Victor-Porsche brand wheels for my narrow body 997 but they seem to come with VERY aggressive offsets considering they are specifically designed for the 911:
The 11" rear rim from Victor for the narrow body comes with a 52mm offset - this is only 1mm "narrower" than putting a stock wide-body wheel on a narrow body car. (Stock Porsche wide body wheels have a 51mm offset.)
For reference: the 11" rear for the wide-body from Victor comes with a 25mm offset (I'm not just reading the wrong line. I think).
My car is not lowered if that makes any difference. The price is what attracted me to the Victor wheels, but will a 52mm offset really fit my narrow body 997? I would think it must since my searches did not yield any complaints about the Victor brand - except for the weight - which I cannot find the spec for.
Does someone have Victor wheels on their car? (A picture would be awesome)
Maybe if the economy stabilizes by spring I'll get the HREs I really want instead, but that's a lot of cash.
Thanks for any info.

The Victor wheel in 19 x 11 with offset 52mm should fit the C2/C2S. It will be flushed with the fender. I had 15mm spacers on my Carrera Classics @ 52mm and this is what I noticed. I now have the Kinesis F110 with a 58mm and it's slightly less flushed with the fender.
Thanks Kaz,
I don't suppose you have a picture of that? I was wondering if WB wheels would really fit. A local guy put some aftermarket wheels on his C4S and is offering his stock "classic" rims at a reasonable price. I like those too.
Thanks.

if im not mistaken, i remember reading on this forum of a guy with a 997S (narrow body) who put the RS wheels on his car. normally the RS wheels comes with a 10mm spacer on the rear, but he just put on the RS wheel with no spacer. here's the link

Thanks for the replies, photos and links. This opens up a few more options as to what I want for wheels....
I have some time now (until my car comes out of hibernation in spring) to try to make a decision. Don't know if that is good or bad. I'd really rather just be driving it.

997 Narrow Body Offset vs Wide Body Offset
Can someone please help me confirm the offset for a narrow body vs wide body 997?
I am told the Turbo wheel for a wide body is 51 and the narrow body is 67
Is this correct?

Yes. A wide body rear wheel will stick out an additional 16mm from a stock narrow body rear wheel.
