Question req: muffler install/advice/tips

Ok, I am the first to admit, anything mechanical is not my forte ...I have a new set of mufflers & tips to install this weekend (not too concerned with tips as I have experimented there already)

ramps vs. jack/stands? (not looking for overall debate on merits )

if jack/stands ... did/do/should you remove wheels??

difficultly level??? (what I have read/researched indicates a somewhat painless experience)

overall tips/gotcha's????

looking for advice from both those more knowledgeable than I and from those who have been there before me

thanks

Matthew

my friend who never touched a porsche didn't have that difficult time with my car. we spent about 30 mins trying to figure out how to jack up my car. the car with the aerokit has some difficulty driving up ramps as you can imagine. so we jacked up the car and then put the front rims on ramps. make sure to remove the rear tires, makes things 10x easier. the first side took about 1 hour to uninstall and install, second side took 30 mins, after we figured it out. overall it wasn't too bad. not sure if this helps, i believe i had an earlier post about this.

For what its worth, I'm sure I am in the minority here... it seems so much easier to me to just take of the rear bumper. I put some cats on last sunday, took off the tail lamps, rear cover, reinforcement and heat shields in ten minutes; with air tools. It just seems so much easier to me, and everything is right there where you can see it... either way, not a difficult job
best of luck
