airbag light on?

anyone know why my airbag light would be on? tried restarting, nothing. any quick fixes or should i take to the dealer.

i disconnected my center console and their is a switch for the passenger air bag, air bag light came on, i disconnected battery and to no avail. i took to dealer, had tech hook up to computer for 30 sec. cleared light, tipped tech, on my way. no problems

autozone....NOT, definetly dont do that. For one they dont have the correct scanner to check airbag lights, second they cant on many newer cars, bottom line read reply # 2 and follow till problem solved. O yeah, and its free!

went to the dealership, guy brought out the computer, no codes showed up, he must have reset something and it went away. thanks.
