Why are you looking at these high mileage cars ? That price would be fantastic if the car had 10-15K miles on it but with 40K the car has been DRIVEN extensively for a Porsche . 58K for a car when a NEW one would be about 22K more and be THREE years newer with zero miles leaves me feeling that whatever you save now will be spent over time .
Once that car crosses 50K miles --depreciation is Timberrrrrrrr =no original warranty = you are stuck = car will be worth 38K = 20K depreciation = the same as a NEW car.
That 100K six year warranty is NOT the same coverage as the factory warranty. The "CPO" is imbedded into that 58K price . It's great marketing but you (the customer) are paying for it when you could simply either save the money with private sale OR buy a new car .
My advice -- there are many Porsche owners on this forum who might be selling their cars as well as site sponsors. There are dealerships who have cars looking to sell them and you may find one with options close or even identical to what you want. The key is to look past the immediate gratification of a car which may look great and view the long term reliability, resale, and overall enjoyment you can have with this car .
Good luck .Whatever you decide I wish you the best.

To be honest, I have been looking for 7 months
. I have found two that have the exact options and colors I want...but guess what? They both had over 50k miles! The other one was the car I spoke to you about (the one with the replaced engine). Thanks for the advice though. Il make a post in the for sale section.

Fast -- I am looking at your car's options and it is not heavily optioned . Also slate grey will not be offered for 09 and be replaced with cream white. It seems like full leather is the big dealbreaker for you . Personally I can understand wanting it ( and it is great)but I can say that out of my 8 Porsches two did not have it and the car was still amazing .
40K miles VS NON full leather is an EASY decision for me . High mileage is NOT a good thing on a Porsche . If this car was a Honda or a BMW I might shrug off the higher miles --but not on a Porsche .
