AWE cats and X51s are going on today, can't wait to drive it. Should I reset the computer as well?

-AWE cats and x51 (or suncoast) headers and leave the stock exhaust.
-Borla exhaust and Borla Headers.
I ordered Borla headers and exhaust, and am just waiting for them to be delivered. I was one of the winners of the free Softronics flash and that has to be downloaded too. I have had Borla's on several previous cars and have always loved the sound. The YouTube sound clip for the Borla's on the 997 sounds wonderful.

I actually don't agree with mixing exhaust components. If the company makes a complete exhaust system and they are reputable, the exhaust system will work best with all the components. I see it quite frequently and usually the motivating factor is cost: x51 / ebay headers are so cheap. I have a full Cargraphic exhaust and I will say I would never consider buying different parts from different companies. Either do it right or don't do it all. I have a sample video on youtube. I will take more videos on the road shortly.

Mass...Cargraphic is beautiful and I bet it sounds great. Cats are where the HP is at according to many on this site and that is all I was really after. X51's are cheap...and companies like Europipe "mix" them with their systems just fine. I am not sure I agree with your logic on exhaust.... but to each his own!

I'm sure there isn't a harm, but I still prefer staying within the brand (on other things as well, ex: home theatre). Enjoy your exhausts everyone.
