A friend is selling (AWE high flow cat + AWE mufflers) all for $1,400. He bought them in october of 2007 and he used them for less than 1,500 miles.

They are for a 997S.

It since like a good deal to me. Should I move forward?

No-brainer! The Cats alone are $1500 new....you're getting the mufflers free. Take the money you saved and get the headers to complete the pkg.

Just curious what your "friend" is switching to from the AWE system?

 

He is selling his system because he is installing the Europipe system...

I don't know about the header system. It seems like the power gain is marginal.

 

That is a great deal on some quality products. I heard a 997S today with AWE 200 cell cats and mufflers today at the track. He was pitted right next to me. This set up is very liveable on the street and not really all that loud...just a real nice sound.
