what is the normal tire pressure for front / back on 997s? Spirited driving of course. Thanks in advance.

Street or track?

Street look at the owners manual or the sticker in the door jamb.

Track, normal do not go over 40psi HOT. I start out at 26/27 for Hot 38psi. Above that they get slipery. This is for Toyo RA1 and most other R-Comp tires.

 

Mine says 36/44.

 

For street, check out what's on the driver's door.
I just did Shanghai F1 track, the advice given to me was (after a few laps to warm up the tires) front 28 and rear 32. Works out well.

 

I find that as the day goes on my pressures sneak down lower at cold temp to achieve proper rollover.

My street tires I follow Porsche's instructions on the inside of the door.
