Actually as I understand it, Porsche updates these dealer listings either when the car is ready to be shipped or is on the ship. Oftentimes, many sales people don't even know these cars are theirs. So, this does not necessarily mean the cars are at the showroom.

Seems silly that they are continuing the 996 C4S into 2005
