Replaced rear fog light, still have cluster warning

Replaced rear fog light, still have cluster warning
I recently replaced my rear fog light with a Sylvania bulb which matched the Osram bulb that went out however, I am still getting the warning to check the rear fog light even though the bulb is working. Is the OEM bulb the only one that will clear the warning?
