Yes my biggest complaint is the day in and day out shifting (it's really getting old after 20+ years of rowing my own). I also get some chatter too from drive off at unless I really baby the clutch or drive off aggressively as then there's none...this chatter was always there even when brand new. Porsche replaced the clutch and flywheel at 5,000 miles and it was still there. A guy on renntech reported the exact same problem and had to have his clutch replaced twice on his new (at the time) 07 S as his tech discovered Porsche used a very grippy disc on certain 07's and he eventually got a different part # after some searching. I tried to get more info from the poster but he seems to be long gone...here's the link: http://www.renntech.org/forums/index...5329&hl=clutch

I have a November allocation. Should I receive advance notice of the build date? If so, how much notice is usual?

Or will I get a call one day telling me what day the car was built?
