rear deck lid emblem removal

Is the rear deck lid emblem glued on with the double sided tape or bolt on?

double side tape, use hairdryer and floss. Use goo gone to remove excess adhesive.

Plus I took a clay bar to the area and put a good coat of polish on.

Me too,only I will be replacing mine with a custom made one that is in the works right now!
Going to be quite the piece,my friend has a machine shop and come up with a crazy design.Will be machined out of aluminum sand blasted and then machined again !

Well, make sure you post pics of your custom job.

Personally, I can't imagine anything better than "Carrera S" other than maybe "Carrera GT" so long as it's attached to the car so described.
