Thinking about a set of Champion RG5's. Had the oz's from my other 997 and sort of getting tired of them plus I think the Champions compliment the car a little better. More of a racey look as opposed to the bling of the polished spokes the oz's give. Plus, just got done adding a GT3 front bumper so the RG's might be even better yet.

**GMG, I hope you dont mind i used on of your pic's, if so, i will be happy to remove it.

I think that Champion, HRE, and BBS all make wheels that fit the look of our cars. I say go for the new wheels

I vote OZ- those are very cool - the grass is not always greener- Your Coupe - Speed Yellow and those OZ rims adds up to a beautiful machine- do not underestimate your current set up....

Although GMG has their logo on that pic, it's actually Champion's pic. It's in their online pdf brocure. FYI.

I agree with NorthVan.

While these aren't the look you're talking about, I have a set of 20" Avus' that I'd sell for a huge loss. I now have 4 sets of wheels for this car. It's getting stupid. PM me if you're interested. I think they'd look awesome on a yellow car. The centers are Basalt Black Metallic instead of just gloss black.

Define "huge loss". Do you have other pictures?

I do. See these links. I paid around $7k for them with tires. A bit over, I believe. There are Pirellis on the front, and Contis on the rear. I literally spun one of the Pirelli rears on the wheel one day. There are a few small rock chips on them, just in the black paint. I have a little bottle of touch up paint to fix that, although it's not noticeable unless you get down on your knees. Lips are perfect. Everything is perfect. I'm in Thailand and Switzerland for another 3 weeks, but could get a buddy to ship them out. I'd sell them for $3500 plus shipping. Considering the low mileage on them and total lack of ANY road rash, I think it's a good deal. For less than that, I'd just keep them for cruising or for just mounting them on the wall in my garage to look cool.

The last one was taken when we unwrapped them, FYI.

Thanks all for the input but i'm still confused!!

Here are a few responces to your comments.

yrralis1-Yes I liked those wheels, but I want 20's and they only come in 19's, unless of course you go with the aluminum ones that are similar in style.

blakt out-although I do like your wheels, the 3 piece look is part of what i'm sick of, like the cleaner look of the 1 piece forged. Thanks though.

Skylar's Dad-you as with a good freind and many others that have seen the car think i'm nuts, but hey, we all are on this forum.

Thanks again, if i decided to pull the trigger you guys will be the first to see.

I think the Champion RG5s would look great on your car. I also really like Fikses on the 997. Here's a set of Fikse Profil 19s on a pal of mine's 997S Cab:

I like the RG5s for you as well. Just throwing something else into the mix, have you seen the CCW one piece? Gorgeous.

I didnt want to say it when u first showed pics of the new wheels but my feeling is the style of the wheels u currently have are more for a cadillac or something like that. I dont think they look refined enough for a porsche. That being said I am a big fan of the Champion wheel lineup due to the amount of research and development that they do. Also the wheels are lighter and to agree with you, look clean and stunning. I would go with the Champions or a set of not so popular HRE's. All im saying is i like a wheel that looks great but also is of quality, and can save some weight at the same time. Good Luck with the purchase and please post some new pics when u change things up
