Need 18" Classic Wheels for 997

The classic wheel from any 997 would work for to use as track wheels.

You got a set hanging around?

I am moving to 19" wheels from stock 997 C2 18" wheels, at the end of this season. The 18" are a great inexpensive track wheel, very sturdy wheel.

Sturdy wheel but really not wide enought to take advantage of the size tires you could use on a 997S. I bought CCW wheels www.ccwwheels.com because they are priced right, use on a lot of race and track cars and they are very sturdy and custom built. I use 9x18 and 12x18. I used Toyo RA1 245-40-18 and 305-35-18 last year and part of this year. I switched to 255-35-18 and 315-30-18 Toyo R888's. You could never use these size tires with stock C2 wheels since the front is only 8" wide and the rear is only 10" wide.

No you can't fit the sizes on the C2 Wheels that you are fitting on the CCW (nice wheels BTW), I am running 235's in the front, and 295's in the rear. I would like to fit a 315 on the rear, but my tire supplier isn't sure it would be safe, as they will bulge out. I have a freind that drives a 996GT3 with CCW and 315's he is getting some minor rubbing as the tires are very wide.

I am happy with the results that the 295's are giving me on the track, so I wouldn't hesitate to run them again.

I never said they didn't, what I meant was No I can't fit these on my wheels. I will adjust the post
