Thanks all for your opinions. Measured a turbo's exhaust outlet height today and it is about 25-30 mm higher than my exhaust. I think this will be very easily handled with a set of shortened downpipes to accomodate the outlets in the bumper. I may just do the wing first and see how it looks and add from there. I'll keep you updated on the progress.

Thanks
Bruce

2 more options.....

my favorite 2 wings are by Hamann

http://www.supercarnews.net/porsche/...ht-rear-14248/ also really like

speedart http://www.europeancarweb.com/featur.../photo_09.html (nice pic to see the wing not saying I like this car) but very expensive, both need chin spoiler for balance IMO though.... I like these as they most resemble (somewhat) the older 993 series of wings/tails on the Turbo cars...

some more options, unique.

I did some pricing on the rear wing and bumper and retail on each piece is $6700, not for both, EACH! Now, am i nuts or is this getting a little out of hand for some parts made of fiberglass? I might and mean might, be able to justify the wing but a bumper for $6700? I do have a connection on the stuff and can get at cost but even then we're still talking big $$$$$. I dont know guys, I think I might have to draw the line on these and continue my search.

Bruce,

If ever you decide to not go with the TechArt rear bumper & wing, both the Vorsteiner rear wing & rear bumper which feature DVWP & Carbon Fiber retail for less than 1 TechArt piece.

Both of these pieces will be ready to ship early next week as well.

Love that wing. Does any other manufacturer like Misha or NR make a similar wing that would be much less money?

I think the bumper would fit no problem considering that my 4S and the Turbo have the same width rear end. The only thing that might need to be done is the exhaust down tubes I think will need to be shortened to have the exhaust exit at the right height. Although not a big fan of the rockers pictured I think that they intigrate well with the rear bumper. As always, your opinions are appreciate.

I can get the parts at cost that does save some cash, but not as much as you might think. Thanks for the offer on your wing, i will consider it but it looks a little big for my taste. I will check out your pics again though.

Thanks
Bruce

Yes I have looked at Misha's stuff and NR Auto, nothing exactly what i'm looking for. NA might come out with this in the future, i believe the already have a knock off of the Techart GT Street kit already. Just unsure about their fitment and quality.

Ok, OK, I got it b911s, do a search, Vorsteiner came out with a new body kit recently, its not even on their website (which i cant understand) but it is insane. I didnt like the first stuff they had but the new kit is intense. The front bumper is very similar but cleaner lines to the techart front. The rear has its own flair but is just as sweet. Do a search and let me know what u think. Not sure what they call it but it is not the VGT kit

well I offered mine because in your 1st post you mentioned the techart type 2 wing which is what I have.

BTW did you get a chance to look at NRauto GT street bumpers?

Yea I may have caused a little confusion with the Type 2 wing. The white car in the first pics is a Techart Type 2 Turbo Kit. So it is a Type 2 Turbo wing not a Type 2 997 wing.

I have seen the NRauto GT street Kit, but the rear bumber is a little to much visually if you ask me.

It's the VT-R kit. I'm going to stick with my GT3 front bumper, I'm just looking for something to finish off the rear end. Their VGT Type I & II rear bumper isnt bad, sort of a GT3 knock off. Thought about doing a factory GT3 rear bumper but I wanted something a little more unique.
