Question Good Deal on an 09 Carrera S cab?

Just placed an order for a new S cab that is supposed to be in around oct. or nov. I'm pretty happy with the deal I got but I wanted to double check here to make sure I didn't miss something.

I'd rather not state my deal in the thread, but if you are interested pm me.

So, what amount off MSRP would you consider to be a good deal on a new 09 S cab?

Thanks!

If you get anything off at the car's launch then that's good. The best I ever got on a launch car was 3 percent yet with the down economy you might end up doing better . Region does have an impact and I don't know much about Minnesota .

Yea that is very true. In my region we can only drive these cars 6-8 months out of the year, and with winter around the corner + the state of the economy i doubt a huge amount of people are lining up for 100+k sports cars.

In my region cabs are popular . Miami/Ft lauderdale are such an international cities that whether the economy is up or down Porsches sell .

If it's CA, you'd be lucky to get .5%. I've heard of people getting 5% which is something I've never seen out here.

I dont know much about porsche discounts, but you should get something off, I would say 2-4k. A brand new M3 would get about that off MSRP depending on location. I am in North Delaware (wealthy area, but not SoCal). The economy is bad, car sales are low and high-end cars are hurting too.

2-3% on a new model year especially 09 is a good deal.

5-6% on a 08 inventory is pretty good

if u can't get this, let me know. i have hook ups and can get allocation fast on porsche or other makes.

I got 4% off MSRP in the bay area for a September build. All I did was send an email to every CA dealer and ask for their best offer. Easy and pain free.

Mind PMing me which stealership you got 4% off at? I'll likely be in the market for a 09 in the foreseeable future.
Thanks
