Sway bar question
Sway bar question
If your suspension is stock, would you benefit any handling improvement by getting a set of aftermarket sway bars? Would they effect ride quality?
Thanks.
Thanks.
I think they would help in cornering, the swaybar alone on my Allroad makes a huge differnece, so I would imagine it would help the Porsche. The drawback is that they are twitchy when driving over uneven roads (man hole covers, pot holes, etc).
I upgraded my suspension in phases: wheels, coilovers, then sways added last.
The Sways added the final handling component and really keep the car flat during transitions. I highly recommend them.

I think the majority of the folks here are using either H&R or the Porsche GT3 sways. Both are adjustable and more solid when compared to the stock 997 sways, which are hollow.
I have the H&R's.
